KBR awarded $87 million contract for building at UNC dental school

KBR gets $87M building contract at UNC
HOUSTON — Engineering and construction company KBR Inc. said Monday that it was awarded an $87 million contract to construct a new building at the University of North Carolina’s dental school.
KBR said it will build a five-story, 216,000 square-foot building that will include academic, research and administrative space for the UNC School of Dentistry.
Work is already under way and is expected to be finished by January 2012.
Shares of KBR fell 64 cents, or 3.2 percent, to close at $19.70.
