AGARTALA - The Tripura government has asked security forces to vacate schools occupied by them at the earliest, an official said Sunday.

“Around five to six school premises are being used by security forces in Tripura. They will vacate them very soon,” principal secretary in-charge of education Banamali Sinha told IANS.

“Earlier, a large number of schools in Tripura had been occupied by paramilitary and state forces to deal with terrorism. Now the number of such schools is only five or six,” Sinha said.
