SANTA MONICA (GaeaTimes.com) — The Santa Monica College is going past a voting process. The Board of Trustees are surveying the poles. This pole is constructed regarding the renovation of several classrooms and a vast arena of the college. Reportedly, the changes to be made are all major. Technical specification depicts that it will not just be a temporal issue but the occupants in and around will go through extreme disturbance.

The buildings that have to be destroyed are not in a sequestered or out of population area; they’re located in the city in an area that has a residential locality right across the street. There’s also a school nearby the targeted buildings. Keeping all this in mind the authority thought it best to conduct a poll to resolve the matter. According to a few sources in the Santa Monica College there’s no evident necessity of destroying the arena at any rate as the reconstruction of the arena is nothing more than an upgrade to the building. There are already mixed reactions, and also a strong opposition.

To add to the chaos, environmental issues are also being taken up. The eradication of such a massive architecture is sure to cause whole lot of pollution. Also, greens in and around the building will be victimized in the process. People are waiting eagerly for the results. Why don’t you help them decide. Tell me, what do you think? Be mean or Save green? Should Santa Monica College undergo reconstruction?
