NEW DELHI - The Delhi government Wednesday asked the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) to implement the guidelines on 25 percent reservation for students from economically weaker sections in primary public schools recognised by the civic body.

According to a statement, the government has asked the civic body to furnish a list of schools violating the guidelines.

This was decided at a review meeting attended by Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit, Delhi Education Minister Arvinder Singh Lovely, Principal Secretary (Education) Rakesh Mohan and MCD Commissioner K.S. Mehra.
