Haryana university to help Nepal in agriculture development

CHANDIGARH - Scientists from the Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agriculture University (HAU) in Haryana will provide their assistance for faster agriculture development in Nepal, a university official said Wednesday.

An eight-member delegation from Nepal, headed by the Nepal Agricultural Research Council (NARC) executive director Bharat Prasad Upadhyay, visited the HAU campus in Hisar Tuesday to see the agriculture and horticulture processes developed in the university.

HAU Vice Chancellor K.S. Khokhar said keeping in view the similarities in geographical, agricultural as also agro-climatic conditions of both the countries, HAU will extend full cooperation to Nepal.
