WY professor compiles book on coal-bed natural gas
LARAMIE, Wyo. — A University of Wyoming professor has compiled coal-bed natural gas expertise from UW and from around the world into a book.
The 511-page book is titled “Coalbed Natural Gas: Energy and Environment.” It is published by Nova Science Publishers Inc. and has 19 chapters written by authors invited by UW Professor K.J. Reddy.
Reddy is a professor in the Department of Renewable Resources in the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources.
The book examines aspects of coal-bed natural gas, including water quantity, use, water quality, environment and water management.
Although a resource for academia, Reddy says the book’s expertise is meant to be put to use in managing water from coal-bed natural gas development.
