NEW DELHI, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- Surprisingly the CBSE 10 Result which has been declared today in a while shall have no toppers for this year. Reportedly, the CBSE 10 Result shall witness the allotment of marks that shall follow the grade system which has been enforced from the current year. The sudden change is in accordance with the proposal of CBSE Board (Central Board of School Education) which announced the new rule a couple of months back. It said that the CBSE 10 Result 2010 shall witness marks being replaced by grades.

This year the CBSE 10 Result was declared according to the grades which shall also have the CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average). The board feels that this kind of allotment of grades gains ground with the modern education system which is strong and full proof. CBSE 10 Result shall award the grade to the students in accordance to the nine point scale set for each and every subject. It is the average of all grade points which shall be taken into account to calculate the final CGPA. Anita Luthra who happens to be the academic advisor for Springdales School told the media that the CBSE 10 Result is one of the most important results in the academic career of a student. The new system shall guarantee that all students are judged on their performance and not on the basis of their merit. He says that any student who scores above 90 in the CBSE 10 Result shall witness his grade point being multiplied by the factor of 9.5 which brings out the approximate percentage of the subject.

As a matter of fact the year 2010 is the last year for CBSE 10 Result as because after this CBSE shall go ahead with their plan for extending the CCE (Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation) for Class X. As an obvious result, the upcoming batch for session 2010-2011 will be free from the burden of CBSE Board exams. The rule however doesn’t gain ground for the schools which have got affiliation up till the ninth standard. They shall have to sit for the Board exam and wait for the CBSE 10 Result.
