NEW DELHI - Ending the anxious wait, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Friday announced the Class 12 exam results of Delhi, Guwahati and Allahabad zones.
The results for Ajmer, Chennai and Panchkula regions were declared Wednesday.
According to a CBSE spokesperson, the results of the remaining zones were uploaded on the CBSE website www.cbse.nic.in at around 8 a.m.
Making a beeline for cyber cafes and frantically dialling the number given by the CBSE board, nervous students and their equally anxious parents in the capital were seen checking the results.
This year, 699,129 students — 408,367 boys and 290,762 girls — took the Class 12 board exams in the country and abroad.
Students can get their results on their e-mail address too by registering themselves on www.results.nic.in, www.cbseresults.nic.in and www.cbse.nic.in, the spokesperson said.
