Search on for UCLA student missing after run

GLENDALE, Calif. — Police are searching for a 22-year-old UCLA student who went missing after a run in a canyon northeast of Los Angeles.

Glendale police are treating the disappearance of Nancy Salas as suspicious. Officers resumed searching for her Thursday morning and investigators planned to examine her cell phone records and computer for clues.

Sgt. Tom Lorenz says a helicopter, bloodhounds and rangers checked trails in the area.

Salas was reported missing Wednesday after she failed to return from a morning run in Chevy Chase Canyon.

Her keys, phone and car were left at her home.
