CHANDIGARH - Haryana’s Class Five students and their parents can rejoice. The state government Tuesday announced that henceforth no student will be failed in the final examination of Class Five.

Haryana’s Education Minister Geeta Bhukkal told reporters that instructions have been issued to the officials in this regard.

The Class Five examinations will be held in March this year and the results will be declared March 31, she added.

The minister also instructed the district education officers to set up examination centres for Class Five only in those schools where students have been studying, so that they may not have to go to other schools to take the examination.
