Three students go missing in Lucknow

LUCKNOW - Three students of the prestigious La Martiniere College here went missing Monday, police said.

Utkarsh Madan, Swapnil and Divyanshu Singh, all students of class 8, did not return to their homes after the school was over.

“The school authorities and parents of the students have registered a complaint,” police inspector K.N. Mishra told reporters here, adding teams have been set up to trace the students. He declined to comment further on the issue.

According to police, the three students were last seen in the school at around 1.50 p.m.

“The attendance register shows all the three attended their class,” said warden Deepak Sahai.
