LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com) — The most expensive public school in America, Robert F. Kennedy Community School is ready for it’s grand opening on next month in Los Angeles.

The campus of the school will house over 4,200 students in grades K-12 at a cost of $578 million in former Ambassador Hotel, the site of the 1968 assassination of the Democratic presidential candidate. But is this too much?

Many people are of the opinion that building new and expensive school buildings are good. But when they are run by those same bunch of people who has given them a 50% drop out rate, it causes a big waste of taxpayers money. In fact, this amount of money is not used for even employing educators for the present schools. Reportedly, over 3000 LA teachers have been laid off in the past 2 years.

What do you think? Will this school promote education? Or will be another fancy hangout for the rich kids? Do not forget to leave your comment !
