Nuclear energy training for UAE students

Abu Dhabi, July 26 (IANS/WAM) Seeking to help them qualify for joining nuclear plants that will start operating in the Gulf by 2017, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has sent a group of students on a trip to South Korea to undergo training on nuclear energy.

A total of 48 students from Abu Dhabi’s Institute of Applied Technology (IAT) will get training on electric and mechanical fields in major Korean companies specialising in nuclear energy, heavy industries, construction and electronics.
