Lucknow University Officials Inspects Two More Colleges

LUCKNOW, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- Moving ahead with their scheduled investigation, Lucknow University officials went ahead to inspect two more colleges on Saturday. Reportedly, the Lucknow University officials carried on their investigation in Ramadheen Singh Girls Degree College (RSGDC) and Rama Degree College (RDC).

When asked about the reason of inspection, SK Dwivedi; the University Spokesman told the media that
that they are ensuring that the colleges have proper infrastructure and faculty. The Lucknow University officials also said that these two factors are important for a college to take care of additional students who lines up for admission. Prof. AK Sengupta who happens to be the head of the Art Department of Lucknow University led the team for investigation in the colleges. 80 seats for B.com have been sought by RSG Degree College to meet the rush of the students. The students are now more inclined towards commerce as there are few seats available for other streams.

The other college on the investigation list is Rama Degree College which have already made a demand for 180 seats for B.Com. That would bring in a total of additional three sections for the college as informed by the Lucknow University officials. The aim of the inspection was to make sure that the colleges in the investigation list were approved by selection committee. The vice chancellor shall have a final say in this matter. Prior to this Khun Khun Ji college, Navyug Kanya Girls Degree College and Gyanoday College have been investigated by Lucknow University officials. Chief Proctor UD Mishra, Yashvir Tyagi the controller of examinations, dean faculty of law AK Awasthi and dean faculty of commerce JV Vaishampayan were all present during the investigation.
