Madarsas in Delhi to be provided computers

NEW DELHI - Outlining measures to promote the Urdu language in Delhi, Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit Thursday said computers will be provided to madarsas to enhance the employment opportunities of the students.

Addressing an Urdu editors conference, she said the language represents our composite culture and has been associated with the glory of Delhi.

She announced that a sub-committee will also be constituted to monitor Urdu promotion activities in the city.
