NEW DELHI - The Jamia Millia Islamia University here has announced the launch of an online tracking system to help students get any admission related information.

The system will help students keep track of their admission status and information like the status of admission application, centre allotted for test, names of shortlisted candidates and those on the waitlist.

“Jamia Millia is possibly the only university in India to have introduced a new facility for online tracking of information concerning admissions,” a university spokesperson said.

An applicant can log in to the system and seek information through his roll number.

“This year we received a whopping 29,500 applications for the B.Tech. course whereas the intake capacity was 350. Therefore the varsity introduced this system first for the B.Tech. and Diploma in Engineering courses, before extending it to the rest,” the spokesperson added.
