JIPMER Entrance

PONDICHERRY, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- It seems like “Munnabhai MBBS” must have been a source of inspiration for four impersonators who have successfully passed the JIPMER Entrance exam. Reportedly, JIPMER (Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education) entrance exam happens to be one of the toughest medical examinations of the country.

The movie “Munnabahi MBBS” had the local don impersonating to be a doctor and there was no one to stop him as he gets away with it. However, reel life as it is always differs from the real one. The JIPMER Entrance impersonators have been identified and they shall soon find themselves behind the bars. The JIPMER impersonators were spotted at the time of counselling when their fingerprints and handwriting were matched with the rough sheets that were supplied to all students beside the exam papers. It was way back in the year of 2009 when the authorities of JIPMER had approached the police to run a check on the case. Since then the police had been carrying out a detailed investigation and have finally filed a case as the JIPMER impersonators were identified. The police also said that the impersonators shall be prosecuted after which they will be taken into police custody.

Out of the four JIPMER impersonators, three students have approached the Madras High Court for an anticipatory bail. One of the four JIPMER impersonators was reported to be absconding. The police also told the media that the case could have been filed a long time back but they were waiting for the final reports from the finger print experts. The police also said that the four JIPMER impersonators have surprisingly done well in the exam.
