AIEEE Online Counselling 2010 Procedure: AIEEE Registration Begins Today

KOLKATA, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com) — Counselling of All India Engineering Entrance Examination 2010 will begin today on June 8, 2010. The list of help centers that will be participating in the counselling procedure has already been published by Central Counselling Board (CCB).

“This year the CCB will carry out the admission procedures for eligible candidates. Students have to make their choices from a list of participating institutes available on the website www.ccb.nic.in,” said Prof Rajeev Tripathi, CCB admission incharge for UP and Uttaranchal.

For AIEEE Online Counselling 2010, eligible candidates have to choose their branch/institute online. There are as many as 30 National Institute of Technology (NITs), 5 Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIITs), 16 other Central and state funded institutions and other deemed universities participating in the process.

There will be subsequent rounds of seat allotment. For checking allotment status you have to log on to the official website of CCB, then download and take a print out of the allotment letter. The result of the allotment will be available on the CCB website.

• AIEEE Online Registration and Choice Filling: Jun 8 to Jun 23, 2010

• AIEEE Locking of Choices: Jun 12 to Jun 23 June, 2010

• First round of seat allotment June 25, 2010

• Second round of seat allotment July 4, 2010.

• Third round of seat allotment July 11, 2010

• Fourth round of seat allotment July 22, 2010

• Fifth round of seat allotment August 3,2010
