ALLAHABAD, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- UP Board 10th Result was declared by the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad on June 1. It has been a long period for the students who have been waiting for the UP Board 10th Result. All servers reported traffic overload as majority of students awaiting their results had logged in to the official website of UP Board.

The UP Board 10th Result happens to be one of the most important exams conducted by the UP Board. Reportedly, Uttar Pradesh Board is in the process of conducting three board exams. The first is the Middle School Exam which announces the 8th class results followed by the High School Exam Results for Class 10 and the Intermediate exam which announces the Class 12 results.The Intermediate exam conducted by the UP Board is considered to be one of the most important one as it is the school leaving exam. The UP Board 10th Result of 2010 witnessed the glory of the girls over the boys. Sanjay Mohan who happens to be the education director and the chairman of Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad announced the UP Board 10th Result today during afternoon.

Rishi Yadav from Kanpur Shiksha Niketan emerged to be the first rank holder with a score of 92.15 percent. SDNV Girls College student Akansha Tiwari scored 90.50 percent to secure the second position.
The UP Board 10th Result depicted the pass percentage of the girls (77.29%) higher than the pass percentage of the boys (64.21%). The overall pass percentage stood at 70.79%. Allahabad bagged the 16th position while Lucknow emerged 35th in the state listing. The UP Board 10th Result depicted Mau district with a total pass percentage of 88.4 while Mathura witnessed 85.61 per cent followed by Gonda district where the pass percentage reached 83.74 percent.
