NEW DELHI, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- After much anticipation the results of the IIT JEE 2010 now will be published on tomorrow May 26, 2010. The engineering entrance examination was conducted by the various IITs was held on April 11th. As everyone knows, The IITs are a group of institutes set up by the ministry of HRD of Indian government. They are regarded as the institutes having elevated standard of teaching and education in the country. The selected candidates will be able to apply at their favorite colleges and courses through the Internet starting from May 27th. The number of students sitting for admission to the IITs from various states this year is 492000.

The students who sat for the IIT JEE 2010 exam a month back were anxious as the declaration of the result of the exam became uncertain owing to a legal hassle. However, on Wednesday the Delhi High Court refused to delay the declaration of the results of the IIT JEE 2010 exam. However, it asked the management of the IITs that is responsible for taking the test. The newspapers were abuzz with speculations as to why several errors that appeared in the All India test this year. The IIT counsel claimed that the system is fail proof and sophisticated the court directed it to file another affidavit by next month.

An NGO filed a PIL seeking a stay on the publication of the results of the IIT JEE 2010 test. The court possibly refused to stay the declaration of the results as the delay would hamper the plans of thousands of students who are gearing up for entering the IITs.
