UPSC Result 2010: Civil Service, IAS and CISF LDC Results Declared on May 6

NEW DELHI, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com) — The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared Civil Services ( Main ) Examination Result on May 6, 2010. A total of 875 candidates have been selected including 399 general (21 Physically Challenged candidates are included), 273 Other Backward Class (including 09 Physically Challenged candidates), 127 Scheduled Castes and 76 Scheduled Tribes candidates.

IAS Exam 2009 held in October-November 2009 and interviews for Personality Test held in March-April, 2010.

Shah Faesal is the IAS topper this year. He is the first Kashmiri to top the Civil Service Examination.
