IAS Toppers Share Success Story

DELHI, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- IAS Toppers of 2010 shared their success story with the media about how they made it to the top in the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) Examinations. Reportedly, the IAS Exam (Indian Administrative Services) is regarded to be one of the most prestigious exams held in India.The IAS Toppers included Bharath Gupta,Karthikeya Goel and Laya Madduri who made it to the list of 40 students who cracked the exam.

Bharath Gupta who happens to be a Kurnool medical college passout became 17th in 2010 IAS exam. He is a fresh MBBS who passed his doctors degree this year and then cracked the IAS exam in his first attempt itself. The other top rank holder from the district; Karthikeya Goel happens to be the son of a former IAS officer named A K Goel. Following the steps of the IAS Topper, Bharath Gupta, Karthikeya Goel also gave up his job of a business analyst back at Wipro only to appear in the UPSC Civil Service Exam. Karthikeya Goel ranked 40. He had previously made it to the IAS Toppers list in his last attempt but decided to sit for the civil services exam again as he wasn’t satisfied with his clearing into custom services.

The IAS Toppers list also included Anand Patel who emerged first in the exam from the state of Gujarat. The IAS Topper ranked 32th in the list of 100 IAS Toppers but emerged to be a IAS Topper in state cadre.The state IAS Topper told the media that he wants to follow the footsteps of Sardar Patel and wants to keep his country free from corruption.
