The Advanced Placement exams are fast approaching and the high school students across the country have started to gear up for two weeks of college level tests. It is supposed that more than 300,000 students will take part in this AP US History Test. Many people assume that Mathematics, Science and English are difficult subjects and students might get low score in these subjects. But many also find that AP US History test is also one of the problems of the students.

The AP US History examination has two parts. The first part contains 80 multiple choice questions and you have to choose the right option among the five answers. Students will be allowed 5 minutes to answer these questions. The second part of the exam consists of free response section. It has a document based question and two thematic essays. In the DBQ section, students are expected to write an essay responding to the prompt in which the documents are utilized in addition to the student’s outside information. In the remainder part, students have to write two essays, one from each set of pre-Civil War period and one from the post-Civil War period.

The expectations of students, teachers and examiners are very different and the practice tests might help them to evaluate themselves and test their knowledge of the US History. Here is a link to AP US History Practice Test.
