Zee Group to set up 300 schools in the country

NEW DELHI - Entertainment and news provider Zee Group Thursday announced that it has set up 50 schools in just one year across the country and aims to set up 300 schools by 2015.
Subash Chandra, chairman of the group, said in a statement that within a year the group has set up 50 schools and thus taken “a strong step towards improving the human capital of the country by helping each Zee School child realize his or her unique potential.
The company had already laid out an investment of Rs.350 crore for setting up schools and developing innovative learning content.
Zee School aims to reach the 300 school mark across the country by 2015. With south India being a promising region for primary to Class 12 school segment, Zee School targets to expand its presence in 25 more cities.
