Mysore, (GaeaTimes.com)- The Mysore University results for BBM Course (Bachelor of Business Management) in its formulated scheme of 1st semester had been announced today Mar 16, 2010. All aspiring BBM students can now log into the official website of the university and key in their registration number to obtain the Mysore University results live on the screen.

Mysore University results have been keeping all their students waiting for a long time until the results came out today. The University of Mysore happens to be one of the oldest universities of the India. It is said to have been founded by Maharaja of Mysore; Sri Krishnaraja Wodeyar IV along with his Dewan, Sir M. Visvesvarayya. The university has been operational since July, 1916. It is the only university to have come into existence outside the domain of British administration. The university grew up to be an autonomous institution on March 3, 1956 when they received a recognition from the University of Grants Commission. The Kukkarahalli Lake is the main campus of the University which has a huge area of 739 acres. The Crawford Hall which is the university headquarters is located at the opposite end.

Mysore University results are in accordance with the National Assessment and Acredition Council (NAAC) which ranks Mysore University very high and rates it with an A+ rating by U G C India. The University secures under its belt 122 affiliated colleges along side 5 other constituent colleges. The University has 37 postgraduate departments, 2 postgraduate centres and 8 specialized research & training centers with a strength of 3,500 students. The University also offers a host of employment-oriented diploma courses and certification programmes. The postgraduate departments holds a record of excellence over years in advanced studies band integrated research.
