NAINITAL, (GaeaTimes.com)- The Results for JEST 2010 (Physics only) are finally out on the official website of ARIES (Aryabhatta Research Institute of Observational Sciences) today 16th March 2010. The exam, which happens to be a Joint Entrance Screening Test in Theoretical Computer Science is a country wide test which was conducted in the month of February. The institute is regarded as one of the leading research institutes in the country. The institution is a center for astrophysics observational astronomy and atmospheric sciences. However, the chief research focus for the Astronomy and Astrophysics division rests upon solar, planetary, stellar, galactic and extra-galactic astronomy that also have room for stellar variability, quasars, X-ray binaries, nearby galaxies and star clusters. Besides this, the institution also specializes in transient events- namely supernovae and highly energetic gamma ray bursts.
