IIT Roorkee Awaits “Cognizance 2010″

ROORKEE, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)-IIT Roorkee will be hosting their annual technical festival called “Cognizance” in between March 26 and March 28, 2010. The annual tech festival has always been fresh and popping with original ideas in the field of technology. Codenamed as “‘Technovating India”, this is one platform which functions to provide people with bright concepts guiding them in the right direction in developing and enhancing their work towards successive fulfillment .

IIT Roorkee “Cognizance 2010″ will be streamlined with the theme of “Technovating India”. It shall also hold the stage to present the “Cognizance Innovation Awards”, which is meant to honor the very best of innovators and creators from all around the nation. Cognizance Innovation Awards imbibes on the essence of inventions and creations that involves and originates from the field of Science and Technology. These inventions and innovations encompass several different fields like chemical technology , mechanical processes, agriculture and medicine. Every new IT product that has emerged also falls under this category.

IIT Roorkee and its technical festival have come along a long way in fulfilling the dreams of many budding innovative minds. The festival seeks to offer a base for all freshers in this arena. The candidates participating in the program shall have their creations on display during the technical festival. The final shortlisting of the names of the successful candidates and their innovations are being decided over by a panel of experts. Chances are that these masterminds may also welcome the innovator to join hands with them and work alongside with them. The creator is also showered with peer recognition.
