IBSA brainstorms on trilateral solutions

NEW DELHI - India, Brazil and South Africa, three leading economies of Asia, Latin America and Africa, held a brainstorming session here to explore trilateral cooperation in areas of agriculture, defence and education.

Students from Jamia Millia Islamia represented India in the ‘Model’ India-Brazil-South Africa (IBSA) teleconference, which was held to “provide a trilateral platform to facilitate trilateral solutions”.

The Indian component of the teleconference was held Monday at the FTK-Centre for Information Technology, Jamia Millia Islamia, university officials said.

Representatives of the three leading economies of Asia, Africa and Latin America focused on expanding mutual cooperation and sharing of research and technology to boost their development.
