British institute ties up with Kolkata engineering college

KOLKATA - The Kolkata-based MCKV Institute of Engineering (MCKVIE) Monday tied up with the Institution of Engineering and Technology-UK (IET) for facilitating practical exposures and enhancing the employability of its students.

Following the tie-up, MCKVIE has started an IET UK Student Chapter in its premises at Liluah in Howrah district.

“After tying up with IET (UK) we are starting an IET UK Student Chapter which will benefit our students to a large extent. They will get scope to interact with leading professionals and get to learn about the latest developments in their fields,” said P. Bandyopadhyay, principal, MCKVIE.

IET, a global community of engineers spread over 127 countries, provides a global knowledge network to facilitate the exchange of ideas and promote the positive role of science, engineering and technology in the world.
